Established in 1987, Guildford Counselling Resource Centre is located in Guildford, Surrey, near to Woking, Godalming, Aldershot, Haslemere, Liphook, Ash, Farnborough, Cranleigh and Farnham. We offer a private space, in central Guildford, where you can talk through - in confidence - any issue that is causing you concern. We are close to town centre car parks, Guildford mainline station, London Road station and Guildford bus station.
Our counsellors/psychotherapists are all highly trained, experienced professionals. Therefore, we are able to offer a diverse range of counselling approaches - including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic and attachment approaches and emotional freedom technique - that can be adapted to meet your individual need. We work with adults, older adults and adolescents, from 14 years, with sessions between 9am - 9pm, Monday - Friday.Guildford Counselling Resource Centre was nominated for the BBC Radio 4 All In The Mind Mental Health Award 2014.

Supervision and Training

Our counselling service is open to counsellors and psychotherapists who are in training and who are required to undergo personal therapy as part of their qualification. We are unable to offer student placements so please do not contact us to request this.
